Many suppliers quote low for non-certified or mixed-origin material. Always ask for Mill TC, finish type (2B, No.4, Mirror), and grade heat number traceability.
SS 304 in 2B matte finish and mirror-polished No.8 have huge price and application differences. Be clear whether you need decorative, machine use, or structural quality.
Stainless steel plate thickness varies by rolling mill. Some import plates are under-tolerance and may cause issues in machining, bending, or welding.
