HIND HARD 600 Plate is our toughest and hardest wear resistant steel plate with a surface hardness of up to 600 BHN. It is built to perform under the most extreme abrasion and sliding wear conditions where lower grades (AR400, AR500) fail prematurely. Manufactured by Hindustan Steel Corporation under the HIND HARD brand, it serves as a cost-effective Indian alternative to international wear plate brands like Dillidur 600V, Abrex 600, and Raex 600.
This grade is ideal for OEMs and heavy-duty operations where material erosion, gouging, and surface abrasion significantly affect productivity and cost.
HIND HARD 600 is preferred where maximum abrasion resistance is more important than impact strength or ductility. Common applications include:
