Quard 400 is a premium-quality 400 BHN abrasion resistant steel plate, manufactured by NLMK Clabecq in Belgium. Known for its tight thickness tolerances, excellent flatness, and consistent hardness, Quard 400 is widely used by OEMs and EPC contractors across mining, construction, cement, and recycling industries.

Quard 400 is a quenched abrasion-resistant steel plate with a nominal hardness of 400 Brinell (HBW). It delivers long-lasting performance in sliding and moderate impact wear conditions. What sets Quard apart is its ultra-clean steel, low impurity levels, and uniform mechanical properties across the entire plate surface — reducing the risk of cracking or inconsistent wear.
