JFE Everhard 450 Plate (EH450) is a high-strength, abrasion-resistant steel plate developed by JFE Steel Corporation, Japan. With a nominal hardness of 450 BHN, it is ideal for applications demanding longer wear life, high surface hardness, and superior toughness — without compromising weldability or formability.

JFE EH450 is a quenched and tempered wear plate that offers enhanced abrasion resistance compared to EH400, without the cracking risk seen in ultra-hard grades like EH500. It delivers a balanced performance in both impact-heavy and sliding wear environments.
