HIND MANGANESE Plate is our high-performance, work-hardening steel plate made from 13% manganese (Mn13), also known as X120Mn12. These plates are designed to absorb heavy impact and resist surface deformation — the more they are hit or stressed, the harder they become. It’s a perfect choice for industries where impact and high pressure are unavoidable and where traditional wear plates tend to crack, deform, or fail.
Manufactured by Hindustan Steel Corporation, the HIND MANGANESE series is an Indian-made solution to replace imported Mn13 and X120Mn12 plates from Europe and Asia.
HIND MANGANESE Plates are used where high impact, not just abrasion, is the biggest challenge. Common applications include:
